This year, out of the 58 houses listed in the official calendar for this week in Tokyo, 42 brands showed in physical format, the other 16 opted for online fashion shows. A format increasingly used in recent years, allowing to reach a larger audience, and contributing to a democratization of fashion.

Japanese brand Mame Kurogouchi presented a collection entitled “The World, The Moment”, which was inspired by traditional Japanese culture. The collection featured traditional Japanese motifs, such as waves, cherry blossoms and soft colors. The designs were modern and elegant, with loose silhouettes and sophisticated cuts.
