From January 21st to 23rd, IFA Paris fashion school had the pleasure of participating in the Who’s Next event.
This international trade show is the leading women’s fashion event in Europe.
It is mainly intended for buyers from all over the world, but also for agents, journalists, buying and trend offices, stylists, schools, etc. They all meet at this major event to discover market trends, solutions and innovations as well as distributors and new fashion brands.

This January 2023 edition brought together hundreds of brands presenting their innovations and latest trends in order to show their know-how and their choices in the face of current environmental challenges. Notably with the Impact part of the show. Impact is an initiative dedicated to eco-responsible fashion and creation, and to all positive actions in fashion for the ecological transition of the market. IFA Paris has therefore naturally found its place among other exhibitors defending the same values.
Within this space, you could admire numerous outfits created by IFA Paris students, with more than twenty looks on display at the IFA Paris stand. You could also enjoy several emblematic masks by the Australian artist Jase King with whom the school regularly collaborates. A beautiful place within the Impact show allowing to discover the school, its values, to discuss the stakes of a “responsible” fashion school with the different teachers and students present during the whole show. But also the opportunity to show the high quality work of our talents trained at the school.
This setting allowed us to deliver a successful work, with strong convictions since each outfit was entirely eco-designed, according to upcycling and/or recycling techniques.

But that’s not all, IFA Paris was able to present an unconventional fashion show with a dancing show that went off the beaten track. Indeed, the different looks presented were worn by dancers and models, allowing us to see the looks in motion. An innovative approach conceived as a real artistic show.
The masks of Australian artist Jase King were also part of the show, adding an artistic touch to the looks and an almost theatrical feel to the show.

On Monday, Jean-Baptiste Andreani, CEO of IFA Paris, gave talks on fashion. Accompanied by leading figures in the sector, they spoke about the sustainability of fashion and the consideration of fashion in society on the radio station Nique.

By participating in this international trade show, the IFA Paris fashion school affirms its commitment to a more sustainable, environmentally friendly and eco-responsible fashion. The school wishes to highlight innovations in fashion in its programs, so that fashion is no longer a major source of pollution and accelerates its transition to an environmentally friendly model.
The show was a very welcoming, accessible and interesting place to visit. Our students were able to attend en masse. The different events were user-friendly and provided an opportunity to learn more about future issues.
Who’s Next is a good thermometer to know the trends of tomorrow and the new innovations. We are therefore honoured to be part of its partner selection to make visible the sustainable fashion we advocate.
