IFA Paris took part this year in the Texworld Evolution Avantex trade show by being granted free entry tickets for students and with interesting discussions on fashion and its commitment to ecology with Jean-Baptiste Andreani, CEO IFA Paris.

The show took place at the Parc des expositions du Bourget. A true event in the fashion sourcing sector that brings together each year nearly 29,000 buyers, professionals from 130 different countries and offers a variety of products, from the most basic to the most innovative and qualitative.

This show is a platform for suppliers to show their must-haves and inspirations to European buyers. It is one of the main purchasing platforms.

The main buyers coming to the show are European but not only.

In fact, thousands of visitors and buyers come to meet international weavers with a wide range of textile offers, supplies and accessories.

Materials including cotton, denim, drapery, embroidery, lace, jacquard, knitwear, linen, hemp, silk, sportswear, functional fabrics, wool and wool materials.

Those attending the show as buyers come to the show to meet new suppliers and expand their networks.

The show also presents many innovations of materials, which will surely be the future of materials used in fashion, thematic forums and trend books to help its buyers to refine their research.

Avantex is the reference in terms of international exhibition of innovation for a performing and sustainable fashion.

Texworld Evolution turns to ecology by highlighting the commitments of its suppliers present on the site, but also by presenting young designers and emerging brands committed to ecology with small quantities in the “Small Order Itinary”.

Our CEO Jean-Baptiste Andreani took part in a round table discussion on the following theme: “Multidisciplinarity, inclusion and pedagogy, how can we innovate for sustainable fashion in Europe?”

A way once again for IFA Paris to speak out on strong commitments and to give its own vision of sustainable fashion.
