January intake 2023

At the beginning of the year 2023, IFA Paris welcomes new students for the January back-to-school intakes.

This new year is off to a great start with no less than 80 new students spread over 5 programs. The Fashion Design & Marketing Foundation Program welcomed 27 students who will be able to familiarize themselves with the different facets of the fashion industry and choose between fashion design and marketing for their Bachelor’s degree. 54 students will join our Undergraduate Bachelor Fashion Marketing, Bachelor Fashion Sustainability, and Bachelor Fashion Design & Technology in the January intake. The more intensive format of the January intake allows students to enter the 2nd year of their Bachelor in September and to continue at a more traditional pace.

This new school year has a particular aspect, as we are welcoming a new student, suffering from skeletal dysplasia. This rare disease causes bones and cartilage to develop differently and become shorter or twisted. Movement can be restricted and the environment is not suitable. As a fashion school committed to diversity and accessibility, IFA Paris has made the specific and necessary adjustments for the successful integration of our new student and her learning experience in complete serenity. These adaptations will allow the school to improve its capacity to integrate all persons wishing to join the different courses offered and to make the school accessible to all, even those with disabilities.

This year, the school will continue to work towards more sustainable, inclusive, socially responsible and environmentally friendly fashion, and will only engage in actions and events that are in line with its’ values.

The school’s environmental commitment will remain unchanged and we will maintain our efforts to obtain the CSR certification. IFA Paris is always looking for new innovations or concepts and wishes to be a pioneer in the transformation of the fashion industry. Sustainable development issues are at the heart of IFA Paris’ fashion programs with the teaching of a necessary transition from a highly polluting model to one that is concerned with its social and environmental impact.

IFA Paris has planned numerous partnerships with the school’s participation in the IMPACT (Who’s Next) trade fairs on sustainable fashion or AVANTEX on innovation in textiles and fashion, or its’ academic partnership with Fashion Green Hub and the Fédération de la Mode Circulaire or its’ inclusive fashion project The Unthreadings, which is back for a 5th edition.

Activities will take place during these events with stands for the creation of upcycled tote-bags, eco-responsible fashion shows and talks.
