IFA Paris x Auberlitys: A Marketing Challenge for our students

Posted on 16/12/2024

During our Fashion Workshop Weeks, IFA Paris students put their skills into practice and tackle real-world challenges presented by a brand. This week, they worked on redefining the marketing positioning of Auberlitys, an innovative and eco-conscious fashion brand.

A Unique Professional Experience

Every year, the Fashion Workshop Week is a highlight in the journey of IFA Paris students. This immersive week provides them with the opportunity to face the demands of the professional world by collaborating directly with established or emerging brands.

This edition spotlighted Auberlitys, a young brand that combines innovation, responsibility, and minimalist design. Guided by their academic mentors, students engaged in strategic and creative thinking to address tangible challenges faced by the brand.

Auberlitys: A New Brand Committed to Sustainability

Founded by Aurélie Clarys, Auberlitys is a promising young brand dedicated to sustainable fashion. Following an international career in Tech and Google, and a later shift to fashion, the founder reimagined how we design and consume clothing: minimalist and durable garments designed to evolve with their owners.

The DNA of Auberlitys revolves around three essential pillars:

Minimalism: Simplifying wardrobes and embracing more responsible consumption.

Modularity: Offering customizable garments enriched with 3D-printed embellishments, allowing everyone to create a unique style that reflects their personality.

Circularity: Harnessing the potential of 3D printing to deliver a sustainable, adaptable solution rooted in eco-design principles.

A Repositioning Challenge for the Students

The students of IFA Paris were tasked with an ambitious mission: to identify Auberlitys’ current target audience, propose a repositioning strategy, and develop an impactful marketing activation plan.

They tackled a central question: How can Auberlitys become more visible and desirable to its target audience while emphasizing its unique identity?

To meet this challenge, the students had to combine creativity with practical thinking. Their efforts focused on:

Analyzing the brand’s current audience and understanding its needs.

• Strategically refining the brand’s positioning.

Designing visual and innovative marketing campaigns aligned with Auberlitys’ eco-conscious values.

A Training Ground for a More Sustainable and Innovative Fashion Industry

Our Fashion Workshop Weeks provide students with the chance to apply their skills in a professional setting. This collaboration with Auberlitys allowed them to delve into the key issues surrounding the marketing of sustainable fashion, a critical topic in today’s world.

For IFA Paris, partnering with a brand committed to sustainable practices is an opportunity to raise students’ awareness of environmental challenges and inspire them to become change-makers in the industry.
