Fashion exhibitions are an endless source of inspiration for those eager to explore the many facets of creativity. This spring, in Paris, three free events immerse you in the history and techniques of fashion, from artisan craftsmanship to contemporary trends. For fashion students, these exhibitions provide a unique opportunity to enrich their visual culture and nurture their creativity.

Beyond Our Horizons: From Tokyo to Paris – The 19M Gallery

From January 29 to April 26, 2026, the 19M Gallery invites you to discover “Beyond Our Horizons: From Tokyo to Paris”, a unique exhibition exploring the encounter between Japanese and French craftsmanship.

By highlighting the fusion of tradition and innovation, this exhibition presents the ancient techniques of both countries through exceptional works created by French and Japanese artisans. The 19M's Houses of Art, such as Lemarié and Lesage, have collaborated with contemporary Japanese creators to offer a unique vision of the world of craftsmanship. The exhibition reveals the creative process behind crafts such as embroidery, metalworking, and more. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover how artisanal heritage blends with bold modern practices, influencing both art and fashion.

Beyond Our Horizons allows fashion and design students to immerse themselves in creative techniques while discovering the craftsmanship of both cultures. This exhibition is a true artistic crossroads, offering unique perspectives on luxury craftsmanship and innovation in the fashion world.

Date and Location: From January 29 to April 26, 2026, at the 19M Gallery, 2 Place Skanderbeg, 75019 Paris. Admission is free.

Enchanter le temps, Van Cleef & Arpels: The Horology Exhibition at the Galerie du Patrimoine

From January 16 to June 1, 2026, the Galerie du Patrimoine, located at Place Vendôme in Paris, hosts the exhibition “Enchanter le temps” by Van Cleef & Arpels. This free exhibition invites you to explore the art of horology where mechanical precision meets jewelry craftsmanship. The exhibition presents over 50 horological creations, from the 1920s to the 2000s, accompanied by original archives.

Among the key pieces on display are the 1927 Chinese Magician pocket watch, featuring automata, and the 1949 Oiseaux clock, depicting emerald birds. These pieces show the perfect blend of horological technique and artistry, creating objects that are not only functional but also imbued with beauty. The exhibition also features secret watches, such as the 1940 Fleurs model, which reveals its mechanism gradually. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the evolution of horology and jewelry art through an immersive exhibition that highlights the alliance of precision and aesthetics.

Date and Location: From January 16 to June 1, 2026, at the Galerie du Patrimoine, 20 Place Vendôme, 75001 Paris. Admission is free.

Rêveries de pierres: Poetry and Minerals by Roger Caillois at L’École des Arts Joailliers

From November 6, 2025, to March 29, 2026, “Rêveries de pierres: Poetry and Minerals by Roger Caillois” invites you to an immersive experience in partnership with the Muséum national d’histoire naturelle. This exhibition highlights the passion of Roger Caillois, a 20th-century writer and poet.

Through more than 200 rare minerals and objects related to his writings, Caillois sought to understand and celebrate stones as natural sculptures, landscapes, or silhouettes. The exhibition reveals how the writer drew inspiration from the natural forms of stones to fuel his poetic reflections. Visitors will also have the chance to discover objects, such as Roger Caillois' sword created by jeweler Jean Vendome.

The minerals are presented alongside Caillois' unpublished texts, offering further insight into how these natural elements influenced his poetry and his vision of the world.
