Kyokai

A first-year student in the Bachelor in Fashion Design & Pattern Making at IFA Paris, Flavie Royo presents Kyokai, a project developed as part of a class assignment exploring the construction and deconstruction of garments.

Inspired by the art of Japanese origami, she focuses on volume and draping, working exclusively with upcycled pieces. A sculptural and sustainable approach that reflects a strong sensitivity to the aesthetic and environmental challenges of contemporary fashion.
