A Pedagogical Model that Shapes Creative and Responsible Leaders
The 2025 edition of the fashion show “Rebooting the Archives”, which won the Gold Award, tackled the theme of reinventing the past to create a sustainable fashion for the future. This edition allowed students to reinterpret personal, cultural, and historical fashion archives to imagine a responsible fashion that looks forward. Upcycling, material revaluation, and textile innovation were at the heart of the students' creations, highlighting essential environmental and societal issues.
The Stratégies Award rewards a teaching approach that places students at the center of the contemporary challenges of fashion and design, while preparing them to meet the sector’s demands. IFA Paris students are not only trained to be creative but also to be responsible, integrating environmental and societal issues into their professional projects.
The “Rebooting the Archives” Fashion Show: A Showcase of Sustainable Creativity
The “Rebooting the Archives” fashion show highlighted the work of 35 young designers, with 135 original and eco-responsible outfits. Students were invited to explore personal, cultural, and historical archives to rethink fashion while integrating sustainable practices.
