IFA Paris Istanbul Open Day: A Fashion Immersion

New Horizons for Fashion Education

On Saturday, April 19, 2025, IFA Paris’ Istanbul campus opened its doors to fashion enthusiasts and prospective students for its Open Day. Visitors discovered the campus atmosphere, learned about the programs on offer, and engaged with industry professionals.

The event provided a detailed presentation of IFA Paris’ Bachelor and Postgraduate programs. One-on-one meetings with admissions advisors gave participants valuable insights into the application process, entry requirements, and visa procedures. The school’s international vision and practice-based teaching approach captured significant interest.
 

Privileged Exchanges with Faculty and StudentS

Meetings with IFA Paris Istanbul’s academic and administrative teams allowed visitors to gain a clearer understanding of student life. Conversations with instructors and current students highlighted programs that combine strong theoretical foundations with practical experience.

Three creative workshops energized the morning, offering a fun and tangible introduction to IFA Paris’ educational philosophy:

Textile Printing Workshop

An introduction to textile design: Participants discovered the basics of textile design and experimented with various fabric printing techniques.

Fashion and Sustainability Workshop

Shaping the future of fashion with eco-friendly approaches: This workshop explored the challenges of sustainable fashion, focusing on eco-responsible materials and ethical production methods.

Moodboard Workshop

Visually expressing a fashion concept: Participants learned how to bring their ideas to life by creating moodboards,  a key tool in both design and brand communication.
