IFA Paris students in Istanbul had the opportunity to attend the 2025 edition of the IFCO Istanbul Fashion Connection fair, a major event for fashion professionals. This international gathering allows brands to unveil their latest collections and serves as a key networking platform for industry professionals and fashion schools.
Exploring the Latest Trends and Innovations
With over 300 exhibitors spread across 35,000 m², IFCO Istanbul Fashion Connection is a large-scale event bringing together key players in the industry: brands, design agencies, agents, and buyers from across Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, the Middle East, and North Africa.
During their visit, students explored the latest trends and innovations in the sector, discovering stands dedicated to various specialties within the industry: women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, children’s fashion, denim and sportswear, leather goods, and technical textiles.
As a true hub of exchange and innovation, the event featured seminars, workshops, and fashion shows, all highlighting the latest trends and technologies. Students gained insight into emerging trends, design innovations, and strategies adopted by leading brands. They also delved into key topics such as digital transformation, smart clothing, technical textiles, and sustainability, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the industry’s evolution.
A Stepping Stone into the Professional World
Beyond observing collections and innovations, IFCO serves as a valuable gateway into the professional world. Through numerous interactions with industry experts, students engaged with international brands, design agencies, and buyers. These exchanges enabled them to expand their network and explore potential collaborations, opening doors to new career opportunities.

Former Fashion Business & Marketing student at IFA Paris, Youna Jamin now works within the Condé Nast France media group, in the Consumer department, where she contributes across all the group’s titles: Vogue, AD, Vanity Fair and GQ.
