IFA Paris Istanbul 2025 Graduation Fashion Show

A Prestigious Runway Show at the French Palace

This summer, Fashion Design students from the IFA Paris Istanbul campus unveiled their final collections during an exceptional runway show held at the French Palace, a 19th-century historical monument.

This key moment in their journey marked the culmination of a year of intensive creative work, guided by industry professionals, in a program where hands-on practice and experimentation are at the core of the learning experience.

In front of more than 250 guests, including fashion industry figures, diplomats, designers, and influencers, the students showcased their silhouettes. Forty models walked the runway under the artistic direction of Asil Çağıl and the production of Mesut Büyüksofuoğlu.
 

Rebooting the Archives: One Theme, Many Visions

Entitled Rebooting the Archives, the show paid tribute to the heritage of fashion while offering a fresh perspective through contemporary creation. Rather than simply revisiting the past, the students chose to deconstruct, reinterpret, and sometimes challenge historical references. Each collection conveyed a personal reflection, a message, or an emotion. Here’s how the designers described their work:

“My collection is a celebration of legacy, what we carry within ourselves despite life's hardships. It tells the story of how bloodlines, history, and emotion transcend time and generations.”

“My collection, titled ‘Venus Unraveled,’ explores emotional stability and repressed feelings, and the journey to inner peace through liberation from these constraints.”

“I chose to explore the theme of addiction, a difficult but very real issue among young people today. My collection evokes isolation, but also hope: the hope of healing and finding light again.”
Melika Taheri (Iran)

“I drew inspiration from mythological creatures. Through them, I wanted to explore life’s transitions, the changes we go through, and the feeling of rebirth.”

Create, Express, Grow: Studying Fashion at IFA Paris

Through this show, IFA Paris Istanbul once again affirms its commitment to training designers who are curious, empathetic, and engaged with the world around them. Fashion here becomes a language, a space for expression, and a platform for exploration.
