IFA Paris and Its Talents Featured on TV5 Monde

IFA Paris in the Spotlight on TV5 Monde

IFA Paris continues to shine on the international stage with an appearance on the TV5 Monde (a channel with a global audience broadcast in over 200 countries) program Tendance XXI. This show, hosted by journalist Viviane Blassel, highlights French expertise and innovative initiatives in fields such as fashion and craftsmanship.

Part of the December 8 episode was dedicated to IFA Paris and its event, the "Sustainable Fashion Marathon", created as part of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Through this event, IFA Paris students reaffirmed their commitment to inclusive and sustainable fashion by working on designs that incorporate upcycling, adaptive fashion, and new technologies.

OUR STUDENT PROJECTS On-Screen

In Tendance XXI, viewers were immersed in a creative project: the Sustainable Fashion Marathon, where students were challenged to design, in just 42 hours (a nod to the 42 km of a marathon), a sportswear collection that was upcycled and adapted to all body types and needs. Driven by collaboration and a focus on garment adaptability, this marathon was an opportunity to create original designs using dead-stock fabrics and materials.

The use of innovative technologies, such as 3D printing, further enriched the designs. For example, our student Dino Puljic developed a pair of 3D-printed shoes that combined design, innovation, and sustainability. This project highlights the creativity and adaptability of the students while reflecting IFA Paris’s commitment to conscious and forward-thinking fashion.

A Second Program Coming Soon: Démo de Mode

IFA Paris will continue to shine on TV5 Monde with a second appearance on the program Démo de Mode.

This time, our student fashion show will be aired, with exclusive commentary from Jean-Baptiste Andreani, the school’s director, and Viviane Blassel. This program, entirely dedicated to IFA Paris, will offer a fresh perspective on the creativity and innovation that define our students.
