Before his visit to the campus, our students attended Ian Berry’s exhibition at Kalyon Kültür, where they discovered the diversity of his creations : portraits, urban scenes, and immersive installations. Each piece showcased his craftsmanship and innovative approach to textiles. By repurposing old denim into art, Ian Berry not only breathes new life into everyday material but also addresses contemporary themes with a thought-provoking perspective.

During his visit to IFA Paris, Ian Berry led an engaging Q&A session with our students and faculty, offering insights into his creative process, the challenges of working with denim, and the importance of recycling in his artistic approach. He also shared the personal stories behind his artworks, making the discussion both insightful and inspiring.
