IFA Paris & Le Cordon Bleu collab for some Chocolate Couture

Posted on 05/03/2025

Fashion design students and alumni from IFA Paris Istanbul took part in the launch of Le Cordon Bleu’s 130th-anniversary celebrations. In partnership with Altınmarka, one of the world’s largest chocolate producers, this event featured a unique fashion show where coffee and chocolate were transformed into true design elements.

When Fashion Draws Inspiration from Gastronomy

Le Cordon Bleu, a prestigious network of schools specializing in culinary arts and hospitality, was founded in Paris. By seamlessly blending tradition with innovation, they cultivate the talents of future professionals through programs that adapt to the ever-evolving industry landscape.

To celebrate its 130th anniversary, IFA Paris Fashion Design students from the Istanbul campus  embarked on a unique creative endeavor. They crafted designs that incorporated chocolate details and coffee beans, illustrating the intricate connection between craftsmanship and innovation. This ambitious project provided a valuable platform for students to experiment with unconventional materials and deliver a fashion show that was both visually and sensorially captivating.

A Creative COLLABORATION with Altınmarka

Altınmarka, a key partner in this remarkable event, is a prominent player in the global cocoa and chocolate industry, operating in over 50 countries. Their extensive expertise and unwavering commitment to innovation made them an indispensable collaborator in bringing this visionary fashion show to fruition.

On the runway, each garment showcased the students' ability to redefine design boundaries by integrating unexpected materials. Through this project, IFA Paris continues to foster cross-disciplinary collaborations and provide its students unique creative experiences.
