The Who’s Next trade show is a rare event to be held during this period, and for the past 25 years it has become a must-attend event for all fashion professionals who want to savor the next trends. Established brands or emerging labels reveal to buyers, influencers, journalists, shopping desks or stylists what the future trendy looks and major upheavals in the industry will be in advance.
Traditionally, in January and September, nearly 45,000 people gather at Porte de Versailles in Paris to discover some 1,500 fashion professionals. All sectors are represented, from urban ready-to-wear to eponymous brands, from green fashion to fashion tech. If no major trend is left out of this fashion temple, the 2020 autumn edition is likely to make our wardrobes shake up!
Who’s Next October 2020
Postponed by one month due to the health crisis, this year’s Who’s Next trade show has a new look, moving to the Jardin des Tuileries. During Paris Fashion Week, it cohabited with another show, Première Classe (dedicated to accessories), in order to attract a maximum number of visitors in a more centralized area.
For the past 2 years, a center has been exclusively dedicated to ethical fashion, where brands, designers, collectives and associations meet. “IMPACT” is the new meeting place for committed fashion, where each exhibitor acts in favor of a more sustainable, more responsible fashion. Through debates, conferences and workshops, the speakers enlighten professionals on the evolution of the market and try to persuade them of the benefits of a conversion to a more virtuous fashion.
The other event of the show, “Traffic”, devotes all its efforts to offering innovative solutions to fashion brands and retailers. Workshops, presentations or masterclasses meet the expectations of the industry in terms of new marketing strategies, international development, innovative retail solutions or affordable approaches to fashion tech.
Who’s Next exhibition, creativity booster
