As part of a long term project organized on both the Paris and Shanghai campuses, IFA Paris’ Luxury Brand Management students have to realize a market study on mens cosmetics in France and China.
Therefore, MBA Luxury Brand Management students based in Shanghai had to take part in the Chinese side of the market study. In order to help them in this process and explain them the different steps which have to be followed in the completion of a market study while considering the specifics of the Chinese market, IFA Paris organized micro classes with Clément Mougenot, COO and Research Director at Daxue Consulting.
Daxue Consulting is a French market research and management consulting firm focusing on the Chinese market which helps foreign companies to understand and establish themselves on the Chinese market.
With his great knowledge on the Chinese market, Clément gave students of IFA Paris’ MBA Luxury Brand Management program, over a few micro classes, his pieces of advice on how to proceed, the size of the sample required to be able to represent the population and the pitfalls to avoid.
Through these micro classes, IFA Paris’ students could understand the methodology to follow to realize a professional market study in the cosmetics industry for men in China and thus launching the first phase of their project which will run on a big part of their studies at IFA Paris.
