On May 26th in Beijing, the 2016 Miss France Iris Mittenaere will wear the France colors to inaugurate the “Bonjour Brand” fair in order to promote the excellence of French brands in China, co-organized by Jean-Pierre Heim, international architect and member of the Forum Designers support committee. At this event, she will also proudly represent the IFA Paris colors thanks to Adjoa Phillips, who has just graduated from our Master of Arts Contemporary Fashion Design at IFA Paris. Indeed, she drew and designed the dress that Iris is going to wear from scratch.
Adjoa Phillips previously studied our Bachelor in Fashion Design & Technology Bachelor which she completed in June 2014. Her innovative collection which was mixing cork and tulle has been particularly successful. She also just finished an internship with the French designer Véronique Leroy.
For the gala event in Beijing, Adjoa realized a long asymmetrical cut out lace dress using satin duchess which provides Parisian elegance and simplicity, to enhance the perfect Miss France silhouette.
Our IFA Paris campus had the pleasure of welcoming Miss France when she came to be measured by Adjoa, so that she could design the perfect dress.
IFA Paris thanks international architect Jean-Pierre M, organizer of the Designer’s forum in Beijing, for giving IFA Paris the opportunity to show its know-how.
Our congratulations to Adjoa Phillips, who has shown that her stylist talent is multi-faceted with the conception of this dress and we continue to wish her much success in the future.
