As part of their MBA Luxury Brand Management, IFA Paris’ students had the opportunity to go to Art Paris, one of the biggest contemporary art fair in the world held every year at le Grand Palais in Paris. Indeed, the bridge between art and luxury is not recent. Elsa Schiaparelli, an Italian fashion designer, used to work with Salvador Dali in the 30s and the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain was created in 1984. Photo credit: Jessica Quarato/ifa gallery. Many fashion designers like Yves Saint Laurent, who was a big art collector and a great connoisseur, got their inspiration from artists, their universe or their artwork in order to produce unique creations.

While South Korea was the guest honour this year, IFA Paris students could admire many different artworks displayed and understand more about this important part of the luxury industry.
