Just few days after reaching the first places of the LVMH Prize Graduates, Karen Topacio won the E-Fashion Awards 2015. A talent is shining.
Stylist Karen Topacio (www.karentopacio.com) graduated in 2015 with a Master of Arts in Contemporary Fashion Design at IFA Paris, is again under the spotlights. Better: we only talk about her these days! Shortly after finishing finalist of the LVMH Graduate Award (she finished in the top 20 among 500 candidates), she has won the E-Fashion Awards 2015 (http://efashionawards.fr)
This is a key competition. The E-Fashion Awards is indeed a fashion competition created five years ago with the ambition to link fashion and new technology. Two awards are presented annually: a prize for the best digital strategy of a fashion brand (won this year by the young sportswear brand Bluemustach) and a competition for young designers.
The E-Awards have however managed to themself with a good jury (including Alexis Mabille, Ali Madhavi, the editor of the Figaro Madame digital). A price which even the press is interested, with partners this year as Le Figaro Etudiant or Zalando.
This beautiful palm won by the designer illustrates, once again, her talent and potential. Karen Topacio is continually seeks to integrate innovation into her clothes. For the E-Fashion Awards 2015, she used an interactive movements recording software, capable of generating random volumes as a basis for the design of her collection.
