Art is always on the move and we can certify the fact ! On March 13, several IFA students – among them some who have great interest in art management – visited the M50 complex, an art landmark in Shanghai that gather many art galleries and most almost permanently more or less ten exhibitions at the same time.

Many famous artists studios are based here. Some of them frequently cooperate with several luxury brands. Such as Ding Yi, who was the first artist in China to cooperate with Hermès for creating a silk scarf design, called “Rhythm of China”, in 2007, for celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Carre and the ten years of Hermès in China.

The vivid color expressions and stories that his painting tells

are very evocative and inspirational.

The first exhibition that we discovered, with great curiosity, is called “Neuro-Rhrumba”, curated by insland6. An installation in which art works are using new media technology that shows us humors, modern and even fashionable experiences.

Then, we were surprised by the exhibition “My Story”, by the artist and painter Ouyang Chun, one of the outstanding contemporary Chinese artist. The vivid color expressions and stories that his painting tells are very evocative and inspirational. The IFA will pursue more arty visits in the future.
