The dresses and outfits worn on May 9th 2019 by the 5 Miss China invited at the inauguration ceremony of the Club 50, bringing together 50 Chinese and French business leaders, were designed by IFA Paris students.

It is a small event in its own right, but rich in meaning and symbols, which has just been organized in the magnificent consular residence of France in Shanghai and then in the gardens of the imposing Art Deco villa of the superb Yongfoo Elite, a very special club located in the premises of a former consulate and transformed by the former fashion designer and art collector Wang Xing Zheng.

25 Chinese bosses and as many French business leaders were gathered there for the launching of the Club 50, which is part of the famous Chinese Business Club and was created in Shanghai to promote and boost economic exchange between China and France.

The establishment of the Club 50 first led to a ceremony held on May 9th 2019 at the residence of the Consul General of France in Shanghai, Axel Cruau. A colourful celebration, all the more remarkable as 5 Miss China were present, dressed spectacularly, in large dresses, designed by the IFA Paris students on the Shanghai campus. “These five beauties appeared enchantingly throughout the course of the event,” said Olivia Chai and Patrick Kouzmine-Karavaieff, founders of IFA Paris and one of the 50 business leaders.

The ceremony was followed by a gala dinner held in the gardens of Yongfoo Elite, where the Miss China appeared dressed in new outfits created and also made available by IFA Paris – which had already dressed Miss China and Miss France in May 2016, during the “Bonjour Brand” design and fashion fair held in Beijing.
