For the 4th edition of the biggest, the most off-the-wall, the trendiest of European vintage clothes flea markets, Violette Sauvage decided to partner with IFA Paris.
Within the Carreau du Temple, Paris former second hand clothes swap place, more than 400 visitors will gather on April 1st to bring back to life vintage classics; two thousand square meters of luxury products at disposal for one day to be able to afford the most iconic and representative looks of the 20th century.
From the post-war years to the 90s, all the trends, all the clothing etiquettes of these days will be available during this event.
Violette Sauvage is not only a vintage clothes flea market. Indeed, a nail bar, a photo exhibition, a food court make this a very trendy concept in which IFA Paris takes an important part. IFA Paris will display a mini exhibition of Bachelor Fashion Design 2nd year students’ creations on recycling and upcycling in a devoted booth.
IFA Paris will also organize a photography contest on this day whose aim will be to capture the best “green look”. The winner will be given the possibility to follow IFA Paris’ intensive program “Cool Hunting” for free. The winning photo will also be published on the school social networks as well.
Through the exhibition of the students’ creations and the photo contest, IFA Paris wishes to raise the awareness of the audience on sustainability in the Fashion Industry. With this partnership, IFA Paris showcases its Parisian spirit which while connected to contemporary trends, doesn't forget the past years and the trends that used to make Fashion.
