The latest design fair Bonjour Brand, held from May 26th to 28th in Beijing by the communication Franco-Chinese agency Hello Shanghai, with the collaboration of the French architect Jean-Pierre Heim, was a very colorful and exciting event. Red and blue, the respective symbols of China and France, dominated this flagship event in style, which brought together 100 French designers at the People’s Palace, a monumental building located next to the Forbidden City.
Miss France and her Chinese counterpart, Miss China, were the the stars of honor as well as their stunning dresses designed for the occasion by the school of fashion and luxury management IFA Paris based in France, in China and in Turkey. «To dress Miss France and Miss China is a great honor. It also seems that the audience was thrilled with the quality of both outfits», said Patrick Kouzmine-Karavaieff, President of IFA Paris.
Miss China’s dress was elaborated under the supervision of Olivia Chai, co-founder of IFA Paris, while the dress of Miss France under Jean-Marc Chauve’s supervision, who is the IFA Paris Fashion and Image Director. Miss China was dressed in red, wearing a beautiful long dress designed by Emmanuel Rochet, a professor at the Shanghai campus of the French fashion school, while the design of the blue dress of Iris Mittenaere, Miss France 2016, is the work of Adjoa Phillips, a fashion design student at the Parisian campus of IFA Paris.
