Valerie Lemant and Armelle Luton are the muses of « The Stackers », the first ephemeral and creative concept store produced by the fashion magazine Stylist. They chose IFA Paris as the event’s fashion partner.

From May 13th to 22nd, a very exclusive event will be held in Paris, in a very modern loft, at 28 rue de Lappe (in the 11th district of Paris, near Bastille): the launch of the first ephemeral concept store The Stackers by the fashion magazine Stylist (Marie-Claire Group) with the active collaboration of IFA Paris, the first French school of fashion, styling and luxury management.

Surrounded by a canopy of 1700 square meters, the post-industrial and trendy loft is entirely dedicated to creation. Nearly 70 creators will appear there throughout the ten days. « But not only. The place, with its hybrid concept, is open to all and will be a good place to relax, to exchange and drink coffee, with activities of deco, design, art, culture, food or sport. There will even be a punching bag to vent and games, to challenge for example a friend to PacMan! » explains Valérie Lemant, co-producer of the event. THE STACKERS x STYLIST Concept Store IFA Paris

On site, IFA Paris can be found on the second floor, a « creation, expression and exchange » studio – with photo shoots, makeover, makeup and styling sessions, in a « Do It Yourself » workshop where technical courses will be taught on the mesh – with lighting mesh creator Kate Crouch (designer at Sandro and former creator for Dior, Chloe, Nina Ricci and Saint Laurent) – and also on casting, illustration, design of styling accessories as well as a presenation of the student fashion design creations.

Other highly anticipated moments: the «Encounters of creativity and luxury» : a series of collaborative seminars and courses offered by IFA Paris during which IFA Paris MBA Fashion Business Alumni Sissi Johnson will speak, Brand Strategist, Tech Advisor and The Huffington Post USA Contributor, the writer François Gaillard, Elise Sithpaseuth, responsible for the development of materials at Swarovski, Coralie Duarte, designer ready-to-wear Dior child, Amelie Mayeu, former director quality at Celine, Isabelle Balu, creative director of the collection Capsule for St James and Hannah Adkins, fashion consultant at Thom Browne.

The Stackers will launch the festivities on May 12th with a fashion show revealing the collections of students and young stylists graduated from the Paris, Shanghai and Istanbul campuses of IFA Paris – with the presence, for example, of the fashion designer Karen Topacio. Several of those young creators were discovered by the fashion press during the Paris Fashion Week 2016 held in March at the salon Tranoï. The Stackers is an event not to miss as it is especially ephemeral. Or almost: The Stackers, live and real trunk show, will occur again in few months.
