The 2016 and annual graduation ceremony of IFA Paris was held on June 25th under a blue sky and in a friendly atmosphere, in an artsy space located on the banks of the Canal Saint-Martin, in the heart of Paris.
IFA Paris has International in its name for a reason. If IFA Paris is not the “United Nations of the fashion”, it at least looks like it! A proof? The new graduates of the first French school of fashion and luxury management came to Paris this year from all over the world to participate in its graduation ceremony. Accompanied by their parents, they came from places as far as Canada, United States, Ecuador, Ghana, Thailand or Indonesia. Very proud families attended, concluding months of hard work and studies of their children.
The founding president of IFA Paris, Patrick Kouzmine-Karavaieff, congratulated the students on their success and gave them valuable pieces of advice for their future careers. Students completing their degree in Bachelor Fashion Design, Bachelor Fashion Marketing, MBA Fashion Business, MBA Global Fashion Media, MBA Luxury Brand Management and the Master of Arts Contemporary Fashion Design were invited to the graduation ceremony.
A LEGITIMATE SENSE OF PRIDE
Dressed in traditional hats and togas, students were called one after the other, in order to receive their diploma from Patrick Kouzmine-Karavaieff and Olivia Chai, co-founder of IFA Paris. Then, the new graduates posed for official photos, with a legitimate sense of pride and accomplishment. The evening continued with a few drinks, in joy and a good atmosphere. Everyone remembered the hard times – and those happier of their journey at IFA Paris. Long-awaited moment: a DJ made the happy crowd dance!
But at IFA Paris, to graduate doesn’t mean that the graduates are on their own to face their first challenges. Indeed, the CAC (Career and Alumni Center) of IFA Paris keeps close contact with all its former graduates and guides them in their search for internships and employment.
