As a hot spot for fashion, film and design fields, Istanbul has its own international fashion film festival (FFF) since 2015. A comprehensive program of fashion films is presented to the audience alongside capsule talks with names from fashion, film, arts and media whereas #fffistanbul also provides a detailed program dedicated to cutting edge design works, art videos, fashion documentaries, workshops, masterclasses and unforgettable parties. The FFF Istanbul once again brings the fashion and the film network together this month for the 8th time.
IFA Paris Istanbul Campus was also a part of the event in this magnificent night as a special guest. The entire IFA Paris Istanbul Campus team had the opportunity to get involved with both big fashion houses and independent designers from all over the world through this organization.
Internationally acclaimed names such as Gareth Pugh, Damir Doma, Henry Holland, Bruno Aveillan, Diane Pernet, Yaz Bukey, Dion Lee, Matthew Zorpas, Emma Mulholland, Ece Sukan, Sara Sozzani Maino, Thaleia Karafyllidou, Timotej Letonja, Yvan Mispeleare, Michael Daks, Edine Russel, Tracy Sedino, Esther Coppoolse, Branko Popovic, Niccolo Montanari, Meryem Uzerli, Hazar Erguclu, Edis, Dilan Cicek Deniz, Yasemin Kay Allen, Berrak Tuzunatac, Belcim Bilgin, Tuba Unsal, Umit Unal and many more gathered in Istanbul for the festival as well.
All film screenings, panel talks and the award show was open to public.
Some of the most interesting fashion documentaries covering designers, brands, jewelery production and other creative topics from around the world such as Wallace Chan: The Art of Materials, NYC! Sound (Back) On, Bvlgari presents: Magnificent – Nature, Retouch was screened.

The audience were also taken on an exciting journey into the worlds of fashion, design, beauty and style with the films that were selected as finalists for the festival award ceremony: The Sound of Waves, Yellow Jack, The Mirror, Franciacorta: A Golden Feeling, The Pitch, Stay, The Kids Are Alright, Vintage Vetements, The North Face SS22, Thermal, Ray-Ban You’re On, Veronica Now, Transmutar, Le Rouge Baiser, One Destiny.
A panel was held around the topic of New Technologies and Fashion. Metaverse, VR, AR, NFT and wearable technologies were discussed. It was discussed that these concepts were now part of daily conversations in fashion as in every field and IFA Paris also takes any oppportunity to be part of the discussion of these concepts on each stage.
The awards that night were given in the categories of Best Fashion Film, Best Styling, Best Makeup, Best Young Talent and the Audience Choice . The jury was formed by bringing together important and famous names from different disciplines such as fashion editors, academics, actors and filmmakers, both from Turkey and around the world.
After the award ceremony, the IFA Paris Istanbul team attended the after-party together with the festival jury and celebrities and ended the night full of joy.
